james peek 14
how dangerous is this anti corrosion paper my s12 came wrapped in?
Gunfixr 76
Were you thinking of eating it? There are better ways to get your fiber intake. I wouldn't wrap my steak with it, but I doubt it'll make your nads turn into oatmeal. The Governments of the world have been using it for decades, I haven't heard of anyone dying from it yet. Ruffian72 548
Just don't eat it without Pepto. Like all wrap paper, it's chemical treated. Takes a crap load to hurt even mice.
james peek 14
GOOD, I JUST PUT IT DOWN THE FOOD PROCESSOR, WITH SOME OLD LORI TAB PRESCRIPTIONS.

csspecs 1,987
Its not that bad. Its trash after a while as the chemicals fade. If you want more info look up VCI paper. I have considered buying a case of the stuff to pack parts in, but oil paper seems to work ok and cost nothing.

slyguy 0
"New" paper? It's been around awhile... with Saigas and many other machine type products. Basically just brown paper with a bit of wax oil on it. It's fine to throw in reg trash, or just burn it if you are freaked out. If you are into survival preps or just have small seasonal machines or tools in your garage, you can put it to good re-use.
G O B 3,516
I find the protective paper to work perfectly for preserving tin foil hats! It defeats the governments new tin foil corrosion rays!

crackback 135
The paper mine came wrapped in said "toxic". I think something was lost in translation. I think its some kind of benzene derivative. Russkies still use that stuff commonly.
