  1. Not only this, but no budget was mentioned either.... Big difference in price between Saigas and any other rifle listed.....
  2. Very nice indeed, did you see this vid, pretty good shooter, belongs to same poster... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=657350547609348&set=vb.206551436172988&type=3&video_source=pages_video_set
  3. I hear you all, and thx again... I had a Red Star Arms 2 stage in mine, it too had an alignment issue with the FP, but since it fired ok with no issues I left it alone....
  4. Thx for the info, I had no idea, it is funny how I read countless posts about conversions and no one stated they had to alter the hammer. Thax again
  5. I did not understand this sry, he has 2 Saiga rifles, 1 hammer is a Tapco (made for the Saiga) should have worked, now the Bulgy I have no idea. Maybe I am missing something here... Thx
  6. Me likey the rifle, no likey the price ouch, why so much? I was going to mention the Henry but already beaten to it... Let us know how she shoots...
  7. I think it looks great, I have one that I want to do that to, the only thing different would be the trigger, http://www.eabco.com/store/custom-gunsmithing/timney-triggers-for-mosin-nagant-rifles/
  8. A buddy bought this rifle http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=362636959 (not mine), no accutrigger, no threaded end, put this stock on it http://www.riflestock.com/store/do/product/26-06-12 and key holes at 100 yards. Now here is a kicker, he bought a Rem 700 SSP I think 20" BBL, no special trigger, no special stock, and it key holes out of the box, oh yeah he put a Wallmart $69 scope on it Centerpoint I think.... 100 yards... I love Savage, but to watch him key hole the Rem out of the box was dumbfounding....
  9. Saiga 308 CON: No spare parts. PRT CON: ? PRO: Spare parts I myself like the PRT91 or DSA's FAL's, it was cheaper to buy the Saiga, only reason I purchased mine, don't get we wrong I loved the rifle but if I had the $$$ I would have boght the PRT
  10. Nice catch... and agreed, on the left side by the time you get to the second traffic light faces are blurred out more, looks to be a wide angle lens,... pretty cool...
  11. +1, not just a vet but mankind, with so many on going crimes in this country who can blame them. Hell a guy here in Palm Beach county answered a Craigslist ad for a job and was shot and killed by the person who placed the ad...
  12. No and I cannot confirm any of my statements on when it was used or who was present nor do I have any documentation, I did not get too many details from his daghter (current owner), I new Coy I met the man on several occasions and new of his history, he always talked about Patton, he was his hero... So knowing him I was assuming this occurred. Coy passed on and she is trying to liquid date his things, she has full dress uniforms, and other things... So maybe just have her sell it as is, I don’t think any Museum will pay for an item, they accept donations… ETA: Maybe sell all in 1
  13. OK so a little background first, the person who owned this was an liaison to General George S. Patton by the name of former Lt Col. Coy Eklund (http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/nytimes/obituary.aspx?pid=118723193#fbLoggedOut), he was in charge of getting the number of wounded and or the number of returning soldiers for Patton. He brought this back from the war, which I believe that was used during this period, I am sure that Patton himself saluted the US flag while the trumptier sounded this horn... The only writing on it says: "JLAROSA & CO" "LICITY N.Y." "USA" Anyway you can s
  14. Agreed, I have never heard that smoking could cause this... The thing is, they have a law that states human rights, and if a minor robs you, kills you or causes bodly harm they are still set free as if nothing occured.... I have a cousin who is the Minister of the Federal Justice of SP (Jose Eduardo Cardozo) another (his ex-wife - my blood cousin) Dr Sandra Jardim who is the State Criminal Procecuter of SP, I asked them what if I had to defend myself and kill one of the perps? They both stated "Leave the seen"..
  15. I had not been their in about 25 years, and boy has it changed it got real big, more pollution, tons of more cars, buildings going up everywhere, many foreign companies going to this place.... Well I found out that their government revoked everyone’s carry permit or even permit to have in ones home.... Not a right in this country, so I said to a friend of mine "it is only the bad guys the police and the military that have guns" he said no that the military does not have guns, I asked what? of course they do, he responded well they have guns but no bullets to put in them!!! Sound fam
  16. Is this legal? I would say no, but again if you use a cell phone or any other electronic device you are subject to have your info hacked. Let's talk cell phones, can they listen in? Yes, they have been able to for years, can they use this in a court of law? No it was obtained illegally, so how to get around this? They are the NSA, they will use the "Patriot Act". Remember? gold old boy BUSH (R) put in place? I still say "You are dammed if you do" & "You're dammed if you don't", what happened in Boston? Why did they not have bomb sniffing dogs going around, or even searching people
  17. Just my 2 cents, it does not matter what the law says if no one upholds it. There are many soldiers out their that will do as ordered, I was posting one day on ARFCOM, and a US marine sniper stated he would do as orderd and would kill civilians. Of course it opened a huge can of worms, not only did he state who he was, what unit he was with but he had his own website just for that.... (intimadation). He pulled it after about 2-3 days of controvercy, you ask if they will(?), you bet your sweet ass they will.
  18. Not a thing brother, that is what I did with my SKS...
  19. AR 15 .224 diameter, AK 47 .310 diameter. AR 10 .308 diameter, AK 47 .310 diameter. It will blow up in your face...... This was posted under 7.62X39 Saiga I could be wrong....
  20. I have the Knoxx on mine, best investment I made...... ETA:
  21. This is not a pun towards anyone, but no matter what you do, that rifle will never be a "Sniper Rifle" it was never made for that. The AK, IMO, is a spray and pray rifle nothing else, even when Mr. Will, from RJF, took a Saiga put a bull barrel on it (308 rifle) it still only grouped about 3-3.5" I belive @100 yds. Don't get me wrong I thought it was a awesome job Will and the guys did on the weapon, I wish they had used a milled receiver..... Ask any former or current soldier and they will tell you if you hear an AK you can look up and hunt for it, if you hear a SKS (milled receivers) do
  22. yeap this is what I did on my former 308
