I will try it...But it made no sense at all today..Some reason or the other the strangest things happen to me when i shoot my saiga..One day it works flawless..The next day..There is some wrong or strange happening..I had my gun Reworked by Cadiz gunworks..And they did a great job by clearing and widening the 3 ports that i have..

Hi Everyone Today was record high in Houston at 104 degrees...So i really didnt let that bother me and went to the outdoor range...I enjoy rapid firing my saiga alot..So i usually dont cycle the rounds one by one slowly...But today i went out to the range and found that i usually get 1 or 3 ftes with a full mag when i shoot one by one slowly..But when i rapid fire i get no ftes...All my mags have the same problem..Today i was using Low Brass Federal Wally world 100round value pack of #7 1/2 shot,,My saiga was set on #2 setting..Can someone tell me why and what could be a quick fix? Love the alaskan...I use to have the .480 version but traded it in for a .454 casull just because i wanted more stopping power...My own currently has the crimson trace laser grips on it..works really well..I see that you are using a Barnes X bullet Loaded by Reeds Ammo..or by Federal i am assuming..I also use that same bullet its projected FPS is 2000 from a full length barrel..My preferred dangerous game bullet is 400grain DoubleTap Bear Tooth Hardcast Load 1400fps,I have enclosed a photo of it...Here is a Youtube video of mine when i had it in .480 Ruger using the Crimson Tracer Laser Grips

The guys you are talking about about is jeff quin and his brother...They are very credible ...I know jeff, he did a review of one of my guns a few yrs back.I refer to him once in a while...Big companies like ruger and Sig usually give him a few of there models to test out and write reviews..So far he has been pretty accurate on all of the weapons he reviews...He should have a email address attached to gunblast.com where you can ask him questions if you have one of the weapons that he reviewed..He is full of knowledge...

My Promags work great for my AK...Thats all i actually use..I do have a few steel mags but dont really care for the weight of it...I believe tapco makes a ribbed pattern polymer ak mag also that is suppose to be very good..Ive never tried it though..But they do have a lifetime warranty..
