Well, I still own and appreciate film equipment. But reality is that even Kodak, which was the world leader in film tech is now out. -
I started a career as a photographer before the digital age. I was skilled and enjoyed Processing, which is akin to Reloading in the realm of firearms. Well, when have you last had a roll of film developed? Point being that in our technical revolution our firearms could become passe'.

Can anyone shed light on this stock/grip setup?
tatonic replied to filospinato's topic in Saiga .410
If the barrel was chopped back you could conceal under a coat maybe, but it could be even shorter with the trigger moved and use a regular Ak grip minus the stock. That setup is hideous imho. -
Nice. That pattern looks to be very effective compared to the ground around it in your pic.

Nice camo.

whats the utility belt for?
tatonic replied to Salt1219's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
probably houses a pocket pistol and ammo. Why dont you just ask him? -
The rifle looks kickass as shown. Thats a nice stock.

I like the PDX and keep a couple of boxes by the bed. Haven't shot it at much of a distance, maybe 5yds. If at 25yds it could hold a pattern the size of your fist you would be on to something.
-
Would a choke need to be rifled for PDX? With the added length, you would be in 'goose gun' territory.

They're both Chrysler Corp. 7/70. -
I shop sportsmans guide for silver bear slugs. They are not that powerful but feed good.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I've got a few mates from SA, a lot of yacht crewmembers. The chicks are useally Hot and friendly. One guy I know was without a country due to being kicked out of there. He asked me if I would sail back with him to pick up some gold he knew of. I declined.

USA. Theres no place like home. I can see a competentsy test somewhere in our future to try and weed out some of our lunitics. I would imagine that it would be akin to a FBI secret clearance where your friends and family are contacted regarding ones stellar reputation. Dont waste money on promag.

If I had the cash, I'd plop it down on a Hummer H1. Next choice would be a Land Cruizer or Jeep Unlimited. If I were to need a 'Serious' orv, I would buy a rock crawler on a trailer. -
You can go to homey depot and buy a tap handle, but I use a pair of vise grips.

TWS peep sight options?
tatonic replied to DLT's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
MARKDAVIDSON showed pics of his rig on the last page of 7.62 pics. I am not familar with the forearm but it looks level in the pics. -
After watching the vid, I would pick the TWS Gen2. The AKARS is simular to the TWS Gen1. I threw my saiga against a trailer and gouged the hell out of the side of the TWS with no ill effect on operation or zero.

Put a foward rail in addition to the TWS and remove the front site, use AR flip up sites. -
Pull it back and let it rip. I have to correct allot of people when first handling the saiga.
-
The only complaint I have is the lens cover, it sucks. It has a cheap way of attaching the caps and the bands break. Also the sight sits too low on the TWS Gen2 rail for the cap to fit securely on the bottom of the occular lens. Maybe need to dremal the top of the rail where the lenses sit.

what to do with Empty Pistol Grip

Yes, I'm from SW Oklahoma where everyone is packing!!! Another okie here, from up between Muskogee and Tahlequah. Hi, guys. I'm from Oklahoma myself originally. I will admit to a little discomfort with the term "Okie" though. I believe it's a derogatory label those from other states use because it helps make them feel superior to other people without any effort on their part. If they're so superior, they wouldn't have to rely on rote repetition of a phrase from Grapes of Wrath. That's a really old book, after all. Boomer Sooner! That is, unless you're a State fan. If that's the
