    My beautiful baby boy was born this past Sunday (07-22-2012) at 7:37am. 8 lb. 7 oz,, 19 3/4" long.. I could not be any happier.

    I've used my factory mag without any problems after installing the bullet guide. Never modified the factory mag.

    Mine is 12.5". Doesn't require a choke or high power ammo to cycle. If Russian magwell mags become readily available at a fair price I may stick an Izzy magwell on it. Still have more plans for it (RSB mod and a few other things).

    Most of us just prefer surplus steel magazines. You can almost buy 3 of them for the cost of 1 crappy U.S. made polymer mag. If the magazine is U.S. made, it counts as 3 compliance parts all by itself. If the mag is foreign, you have to replace a few more parts on the gun for it to be legal with the foreign 30rd mag inserted.

    Hope you plan on sending a form 1 off soon, evlblkwpnz. You can't have 4 and not SBS at least 1 or 2 of them. I had 3, SBS'd 1 and have since sold the other 2. Now I want to buy 1 or 2 more for additional SBS configurations. Lovely pics, though. Get to work on that last non-folder. It looks like the ugly duckling sitting all alone with nobody to play with. Motivation...

    Went to the doctor today. They told us we are having a boy and my girlfriend's due date is July 31st. I couldn't be happier.

    Comparing a $200.00 Mossberg 500 to a Browning (model?) is apples vs oranges. Might as well say a converted and tuned Saiga 12 is better than a Mossberg 500 while you're at it, since you seem to just be stating the obvious. Edit to add: who the fuck asked you anyway? lol This isn't a "my shotgun is better than yours" thread.

    Well a standard Mossberg 500 is roughly $200.00 cheaper than most competition and any Moss 500 I have ever used or owned has functioned fine. This is a 40 year old Mossberg and the issue was a single worn out internal part. So... $200 gun (cheaper than that 40 years ago)... ~40 years of use... needs a single $8.00 part replaced. Tell me again why it's junk? Don't get me wrong, I am not saying it is the best shotgun ever made, by any means. But for a cheap reliable bedside 12 gauge pump on a budget, you can't beat a Mossberg 500.

    Tracked down the old style interrupter for $8.00 each. Ordered 2 of them to have a backup. We'll see if it fixes the problem.

    Call Curtis Sebring @ AK-Builder.com and see if he has any that aren't on the website or talk to Cobra 76 Two on this forum. AK-Builder.com doesnt look like they have any at the moment, but, Cobra sells the AK-Builder.com S12 front latch and may have a few on-hand. PS- The AK-Builder front latch set runs around $55.00. I have it on my S12 and theres no real difference between it and the original Russian parts.

    Different style interrupter. New style (like the one you posted): Old style (like the one in this old Moss): The piece towards the left end of this pic^ is what seems to be slightly sheered off as it goes inward.. I need to find out if I can just replace all of the internals with new parts and have it function properly.
