vicdoc 38
I finally did the latch portion of my folding stock conversion. The side hole and the pivot hole took me about 3 hours to do. I had to remove about 1 mm of the rear of the latch because it was interfering with the front of the magwell guide, which I also trimmed. The buttstock button is sticky for some reason, and I put in a screw to limit the rearward travel which prevented the latch from working right. All is good now... I recommend this if you are good with your hands, have an excellent drill press and can take your time. Removing and replacing the magwell and mag release is interesting, shall we say. You have to sacrifice a screw driver to remove the front magwell screw. Edited September 10, 2012 by vicdoc

Freighttrain 20
Just a boring Legion conversion with a SGM 10 rounder for now.Lots of changes to come.Solid blank canvas now that the overlooked parts are in it(Musta been a Friday gun....no retainer/crook for the axis pins).Wanna tacticool it out so I see rails and muzzle devices in it's future.Maybe a Slidefire or more than likely Bumpski since not sure how well the plastic slidefire will hold up to long term 12 gauge use.Amazingly, the SGM fit perfectly with NO fitting require.Opened the package and it locked right in place perfectly.Guess the missing crook when I bought it was me using up my bad luck early and easily for once. slippingaway 89
Greetings, Y'all. I JUST signed up. THANK you ALL for posting so many helpful suggestions. Over the past few months I've found everyone here extremely knowledgable and friendly.. a sort of "comradery" if you will excuse the Russia wise-crack. I now join your ranks as a proud Saiga owner. I made my purchase of a 24" model 2 months ago, and this weekend I was finally successful in getting my S12 to shoot Walmart Federal 7-1/2. Took a lot of research, and I finally grew a pair and bought the 3/32" drill bit. Parts are as follows: Saiga 2006(ish) 12 guage German Government Edition - 24" Barrel Cheapo Aim Sports Quad-rail (Actually holds up really well and leaves factory bead sight useable.) UAG Tactical Butt & Pistol Grip (Command Arms Cheek pieces to fix eye relief) Tapco Gas Puck (Compliance) Tapco Hammer (Compliance) UTG (Leapers) 38mm ITA Red-dot with Quick disconnect Mississippi Auto Arms SGP46 "El Cheapo" Vertical Grip SGM Tactical "The Gunner" Muzzle Brake MD Arms 20 rd. Drum x1 MD Arms 10 rd. clip x1 Factory Saiga 5 rd. clip w/ 2 shot block for dove shooting x1 Polished Rails, and Bolt Custom gas-work (I threw away the v-plug. Threading didn't match and I'm too lazy to return it) *Please Note, Front Grip, "Gunner" Brake, and new UTG Red-Dot are on the way. Broke 1st grip, flashlight, open sight (pictured), and laser on recoil from rifled rounds 1st day out on the 1st drum dump. Lesson learned on cheap stuff (it's a dice roll) Trying to figure out my camo schema. we are mostly browns and golds here on the plains, mostly because we are 3 drought years away from being a desert... Total investment so far: $1230 Mag-Pul sights are coming soon.

wearefla 16
Finally done! 2 almost identical 4 port (gas port mod worked great!) Titanium blue Cerakote. Bolts, carriers and FCG's by Pauly, awesome job Pauly! JT Engineering Competition Brakes (Big difference, I tried with and without, definitely helps stay on target through mag dumps, firing from hip, etc, but they are BIG and HEAVY!), Krebs Combat sights, Tac 47 Auto plugs, CSS Performance pucs, CSS Tactical billet tri-rails, Mako ladder covers, Magpul Angled Fore-grips, ventilated gas tube covers, JT Engineering Rock n Locks and extended mag releases, Krebs Enhanced Safety Selector (modded a little to accommodate Pauly's extended charging handle, sweet!), Carolina billet trigger guards, ATI Scorpion grips (really like these, great control and comfort), I put the ATI Elite collapsible stock on one, Phoenix Kicklite on the other, I like the ATI the best, both offer some recoil reduction, ATI seems a little stouter. Also have Streamlight TLR-1s's, not shown. These guns run great, look cool, attract lots of attention at the range. Flawless with factory 5 round, AGP and SGM 10 rounders, now at 4-500 rounds each, last 200 or so with not one FTE, variety of Federal, Remington, Fiocchi, Royal. Still working with the MD 20's, have to fine tune them in to prevent FTE's in the first 4-5 rounds. I'm amazed at the accuracy firing double taps and multiple rounds, with or without using the sights. Definitely natural pointing shotguns, now I need to get a Saiga .223! Thank you to all the great help from all the knowledgeable people on this forum, and again, thanks Pauly! Edited October 6, 2012 by Concealed carry
Castalia 19
Introducing "Necessity", a factory 24" and her daughter "Invention" a converted IZ-109 19". Thanks to CSS and the forum. I've waited a year. Read everything I could . Finally had the cajones to convert by myself. The proof was at the range. "Invention" fired 100 Wally World Winchester and 20 slugs with no problems, no failures. Necessity did as well with 2 3/4" and 3" hunting ammo. "Invention's" forend is a modified SGM quad rail to make it lighter. "Necessity is the Mother of Invention" -unknown Edited October 12, 2012 by Castalia

Comanche 5
Finally got my Romney yard sign protector back from my gunsmith. If this were a classic muscle car I would say its got way too much to list but its, street legal, has tons of horsepower and torque and is fun as hell to drive. Old trigger used as extended safety lever......still needs cleaned up. Well, I think that's all. LOL.
