If you would kindly repost your photos, I will delete the other one instead. Hey Cobra, I'm glad you deleted it. I wish that I could have myself! I have no idea why it posted twice. At any rate, below is my GP WASR 10/63. When I got it the stocks were horrible so I sanded them down and stained with Minwax red oak and then golden oak. I finished up with Watco Danish Oil for a very deep satin finish. Since that photo was taken I have replaced the furniture with a TAPCO collapsible stock and a US made Bulgarian style handguard. 6500rpm 670 Posted December 16, 2007 Report Share Posted December 16, 2007 King- the grip frame is an aluminum 45 frame from a Autococker paintball gun that was welded up in some key areas and cut/shaped to match the AK trigger guard. Grips are by Packmyer (sp) and available everywhere. I think I got this set from cheaper than dirt. It was a cheap and efficient way to get a 45 grip frame on an AK.
