  1. Roofing. My first real job when I was 15. Did it for 3 summers. Humped 90lb bundles of shingles up ladders when they couldn't get the conveyor close enough, tore off countless roofs in some sweltering heat. I remember one house had 5 layers of shingles on it. That was awful work but it was at least shaded by the surrounding trees. Saved up enough money to buy my first car. Don't want anything to do with it again. I agree on the steel roof. When mine needs done, that's what I'm going with. They look good, they are lighter per square foot and they should last a long time. Everything
  2. I could be mistaken, I am getting old and my memory is not what it once was atleast if I remember correctly haha. But I believe the 18 is muzzle diameter in millimeters and the 3 is chamber size.
  3. I thought 18,3 had something to do with the choke spec? Like it meant cylinder bore or something.
  4. Lol. These are not the Droids you're looking for.
  5. I thought that's what you meant but wasn't quite sure..... http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/45802-home-made-bullet-guide/?hl=%2Bbullet+%2Bguide So ghetto but 7-8yrs later and I'm still using my home made pipe nipple bullet guide.
  6. Bought some pipe for the 7.62x39 means what?
  7. I don't know WTF FIME group configurations means but people have been saying for years now that we want more SLR107-CR's and would like to see 104-CR's too. And I'd venture to say that fixed stock, square back V12 will out sell any other model V12 that you offer. And for fawk sake, would someone import a 9mm AK already!!!
  8. Legion USA should have almost all the Russian parts in stock. FSB, GB, cleaning rod, folding stock kit, furniture. Depending how correct you want it, sourcing the correct 103 rear leaf sight might be a pain.
  9. Sporting purposes itself needs to go. That wording is preposterous.
  10. This is a good point and I think I may get one To add to that, loads that are not cupped are uncommon and are usually buck. Most from about 5-6 shot and smaller will be cupped. However, the main issue, as I understand it, is that the steel does not compress like lead will when a choke is used. The shot touching the bore is less of a concern in lower end guns like this. In a $20k shotgun, extended use with non-cupped steel shot may actually lead to a condition in the bore that would affect resale value. I agree. The biggest concern is the choke being used.
  11. Modern bird shot rides in a plastic shot cup. Couple that with a chrome lined bore and you shouldn't have much to worry about. This topic has been argued quite a few times on here.
  12. In stock... https://www.legionusa.com/russian-military-ak-front-sight.html
  13. The only way to remove a dimpled FSB, is to destroy it. Either by drilling out the dimples so it can be pushed or hammered off or by cutting the length of the FSB to split it open. DLT if you do the whack trick, be sure to support the entire gun and barrel as best as possible. Hitting them used to be a very common remedy to fix canted FSB's on Saigas.
  14. Give it a GOOD SOLID whack or two, with a rubber (or wooden or brass) mallet. See if that corrects it before you get into 'Plan B'.
