Unfortunately... Leapers and center point are further down the rungs than the BSA IMHO... I would rate Barska a little higher than the BSA... ( and I own over a dozen Barska optics on everything from 17HMR to 50 BMG... yes... I have a barksa on a 50!! ) I would recommend a barska over any of the other " bargain" scopes out there. I would also go with the 62 grain soft point. The rest pretty much fall into the "varmint bullet" category in a .223. Likewise... I would prefer a larger caliber myself... although antelope arent the largest critter going... I would still rather use a 6mm/.243 But thats just me... I think the 62's will do just fine with a properly placed shot.

start with a minimum load for the bullet you HAVE load data for... and then drop off 10% of THAT and work up keeping an eye out for signs of overpressure. Should be relatively simple... by the time you get a load worked up you will be completely out of those bullets and it wont make any difference. Aint RELOADING fun?!?!?!!?

Those loads are looking a bit "warm" to me... I would seriously consider backing the powder charge off by at least a half, if not a full grain, and see what the groups do. Load say 5 or at most 10 of each before going too far... That will give you a good idea whats up. As far as the groups... what optic you using? You should be getting groups that size at 100 yards. at 25 they should be 1 ragged hole if you are using a scope. With iron sights... thats not too bad.

I have a Husqvarna 2348LS... Looks just like Cobra's... just the next size smaller... I have had it for several years now... I LOVE IT... although I am VERY HARD on it... it keeps right on pluggin along. Electric blade engagement, hydrostatic transmission, cruise control, all kinds of fun!!!! I have had to replace the front axle spindles TWICE on each side...But I suppose slamming into small tree stumps at full speed and bending the wheels at odd angles doesnt help any! LOL yes... thats ALL MY FAULT... but I also think its designed to "give" so you dont fuck anything worse up. Spin

consistent cheek weld with an optic is the difference between consistent shot grouping and inconsistent shot grouping. You need to pretty much be in the same place every time to make the same shot. have it vary... your impact site will vary.

They are out there, and avaliable. I have one myself, did a HUGE write up on it, in the proper section. Lots of folks have them, and MOST love them. a few dont, but thats to be expected of anything... Love the NECROTHREAD dig up... well done!! You will *NEVER* save money reloading over just buying the ammo... It is done to increase consistency and accuracy , and to just ENJOY the hobby... Sure you can reload any cartridge cheaper than buying it... but when you figure in the BULK expenses... it never works out... but you ALWAYS have stuff on hand to load WAY MORE than you could have bought for the money!!! Clear as mud??? hahahahaha
