  1. I have had good luck with the SOG graphite Basic and I dig the checkered rubber grip surface.
  2. lol That reminds me... I installed a double hook trigger in my S12 conversion, everything went very well but I messed up a little with the second slot, I went just a little to far, I forgot that I still had to file out the nice curve, but a little JB weld, file, and sanding before the refinish and you can't even tell.
  3. Guns are Expensive! Sometimes we have to cheap out on things... you know ramen noodles, spend $50 on a camera instead of that nice $300 one... We have to make some sacrifices for our hobby! All one has to do is use proper lighting, turn that pos flash off and get a bright ass lamp. Or even just take it outside. But I'm lazy, I just try to keep it in focus... and my camera broked, so I have to borrow the wifes camera, but she gets pissed if she finds pictures of guns in the memory...
  4. So far I have been pretty careful I think the worst thing I have done with my S12 in a moment of stupidity I shot a dead tree with birdshot, the bbs bounced back and pelted my face, I was wearing shooting glasses but it still stung. I shot down another dead smaller tree with buckshot and birdshot with my drum before... it went much better, but it was softer wood. I had some issues at work in the parking lot with both my truck and some people being mugged/having their cars stolen, so I carried very deap, I bought a Keltec PF9 just for it, I did a fluff and buff and in the end the gun wo
  5. I bought a M11 pistol a few years back, the guy I bought it from gave me the barrel ext and a VFG for it... I threw out the VFG... Some people do stupid shit.
  6. nice! My tapco saw grip has been pissing me off lately, soft plastic keeps making the grip come loose. I can't wait.
  7. I love my MD 20 and my gunfixer gas plug, but I waited and was very patient, and I read all the crap about how to fit the drum and even watched the youtube stuff.
  8. I found a price, $1800... http://www.tactical-life.com/online/tag/srm-arms/ It sounds and looks cool, but there are lots of other guns I would rather spend my $1800 on. And from the sounds of it, S12 has lots more to offer.
  9. I have never shot a USAS-12, but I have held one, I remember it being thick and heavy. I like the Saiga-12, it runs on lots of different types of ammo, it's not a DD, it's pretty cheap, and mags are easy to come by. And so many different configs for the S12
  10. I have had my MD 20 for a few months now, I think I got my drum in march or feb, I have run about 800rounds through it, and lots of slugs and buckshot (my favorite are slugs) I have never had one problem with the gun, I even put a recoil buffer in the action for the last outting (the type offered in the E store), and a gunfixer gas adjustment plug (my S12 is over gassed) I run it on the lowest setting for slugs and one click for low brass stuff. Even when I'm having issues with the AGP mags with feeding the drum always feeds perfect. It seems to be well built and from what I have seen mike
  11. I agree ETA: damnit, who dug this old thread out of the graveyard!
  12. I only own one drum and I love it. I have put about 500rounds of fed birdshot and about 200rds of slugs though it. I dunno why, but 20rds of slug goodness gives me a warm feeling.
  13. I like them all! 10rd is a nice size, but I would own atleast two 15rd or 20rd stick mags if someone made them.
  14. Legal as far as I know, and some shops around here sell them...
  15. I have a single MD20, it works great! I did have to do quite a bit of fitting but it locks in solid with no movement now I read through all the bashing and crap the AA guys did, including the stuff on youtube, with that alone I will never give them any of my money. And for some extra $ AA will sell you a ugly dust cover for their drum!
  16. I should note my one and only experience with a LEO while packin, My friend got stuck and he gave me a ride into town so I could get my truck... When he pulled up the first thing I did was hand him my DL and my CCW permit, then announced that I was armed, he just kinda nodded his head and did not seem to care one way or another, my friend and I were out hunting and I had my S-12 with 20rd drum and a bunch of AGP stick mags and my 10/22, I let him know what I had in the case and he was fine with that, he never looked at the serials or opened the case or the bag with the mags and ammo, he just
  17. I have never had an issue like this in Utah yet... and if I ever do I have My lawer on speed dial, Mitch Vilos. He wrote a book on Utah gun law, it comes with a business card and everything. (sold at every gun store here in utah, and he updates it every year) If I ever had an officer tell me he will take my gun or take me to jail, I would just tell him you better take me to jail, while I whip out the cell and call Mr. Vilos...
  18. I have a double stack 50rd mag for my 10/22, it blows.
  19. I would be down for some, the only issue I see are S12's are not AR-15's, they are made by drunken russians and the specs are all different. I think metal mags may be kinda hard to make unless they were like glock mags or atleast have a steel insert like the MD-20 or the factory russian mags, I would love to have some high cap mags with steel inserts.
  20. I was thinking about putting some copper anti seize on mine (the same stuff that glocks come with). that stuff is awesome, I use it for sparkplugs and O2 sensors too.
  21. I have done that to my wife a few times lol
