Spacehog 2,218
Yep. Never missed an election in 23 years. (Since I was old enough to vote) Your vote doesn't count only when you choose not to cast a ballot. Personally, I think too much of those that came before me and made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve that right, not to exercise it every opportunity I get.

evlblkwpnz 3,418
I voted for The Constitution, a strong Military, Liberty, Freedom, Prosperity, keeping my companies open, hiring more people, and pursuing an 07FFL. However, I was outvoted by a bunch of mooching handout skanks that care more about making me pay for their fucking birth control and herpes medicine than they do about locking down a fucking job and handling their own damn personal affairs. OBAMA phantom fear of gun control ???????????????? REALLY?????????? Ok, do me a favor....When Obama sends storm troopers into your home and grabs your ak, m-4 or what-the-fuck ever then we have a problem. The thing is, this will never happen. Wasn't it good ole boy Mitt that signed an assault weapons ban in Mass.? Point being, it's ridiculous to be so fearful of loosing your weapons, at least anytime soon. I'm not saying it isn't possible but why fret over it? I believe Mitt's exact words describing assault weapons were: "instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people." I do think it's a bit entertaining to piss of a few ppl on here just because I happen to like our president....although it wasn't my intention.

I do think it's a bit entertaining to piss of a few ppl on here just because I happen to like our president....although it wasn't my intention. That is fundamentally wrong. Mitt didn't sign the AWB here, he signed the bill that clarified the wording. If he hadn't signed it, there was a possibility that the AWB in MA (signed into law in 1998) could have expired with the national ban. The MA ban was entirely separate from the federal ban, but used the wording of the federal ban and they feared once that was obsolete, it would render MA ban useless. His statement about "assault weapons" is wrong on so many levels, and I personally hate him. But he did get my vote. I just prefer that the actual information in regards to his vote for the AWB is correct

Romney said "Yeah, I'm not in favor of new pieces of legislation on -- on guns and taking guns away or making certain guns illegal. We, of course, don't want to have automatic weapons, and that's already illegal in this country to have automatic weapons," He is ignorant about automatic weapons laws, but he is against the AWB. This issue alone should have gotten Obama out. The 2nd amendment is not about guns for sporting use. The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them." -- Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story of the John Marshall Court Edited November 7, 2012 by read_the_wall

Wolverine 10,360
I, my wife, and twin 18 year old sons voted for Romney/Ryan. Unfortunately, MI went blue again. Of course the liberal leftist Obama won 303 to 206 electoral votes. Four more years of hard times and liberal policies. I can't wait for his Supreme Court appointments. Meanwhile the economy sucks and Obama is salivating over the prospect of fundamentally transforming America to his liking knowing there is no accountability for his actions. What has happened to America?

I dont and unless your part of 0.5% of the population that is rich enough to be in a special interest group that is rich enough to buy a vote, dont think for a moment that your vote counts for shit. Read paragraph #4 http://kwgn.com/2012/11/06/cost-of-2012-election-breaking-records-4-2-billion-and-counting/ They are the ONLY ones that any newly elected official (presidential, Senate, House, Local, ETC) is working for. Yes the minority voters (Hispanics included that want thier relatives to continue to illegally enter the country and sap our US benefits dry) helped vote them in.....but ONLY THE RICH will run this country. When a Senator spends $35 million dollars on a campaign, what percentage of the voters do you think contributed to that? So once again, look at one of my reasons for not voting......I have my opinion and you are welcome to yours.......
