  1. I'm not suprized! When I worked for a auto detailer that prepped squads for auction, we'd find weapons, drugs, and ammo all the time. One department brought their vehicle in with an MP5 still in the trunk! We also saw lots of AR's and shotguns. Piss poor accountability in most departments. Yep...and those usually got passed down to us. After the Dpt, the detailer the auction co. and the truck driver who delivered them....we would still find ammo, mags, drugs, sex toys.....yes sex toys, radios, and and a shotgun every so often. In fact, in my desk right now is a box of Speer Gol
  2. HA! No i didnt do it, dont know anyone who has, have no plans to do it, dont know anyone with ALS, dont donate money to anyone but I also dont see the problem with others doing it! So they pour some water on themselves, big deal. No one is making you watch i.t
  3. Its not either or. Its BOTH. You do the bucket AND donate. Lemme guess ...they are forcing it down on you. No? Who gives a shit? It raises money for a cause, big fucking deal.
  4. ok, by 30 cal i meant modern stuff thats been popular since after ww2. Basically x39, 7.62NATO, So you want to go back to 45-70?
  5. well, the shit that I was issued and used was terrible. you hit your target center mass and it kept coming at you. you ever shoot anything that was coming after you? they guys down in texas made some very expensive blended metal bullets years ago. it worked so well that the PMC guys over in the shit hole stopped using it after the first encounter. they figured some liberal asshole would sue them for using it. Thre were plenty of people who were shot with 30 cal and continued to fight. One cop was shot in the face with a 45 and then fought and killed the bad guy. guess 45 and 7.

  7. cool landing but nothing new when it comes to Russian driving
  8. 2nd larges and Ive never heard of them. Googled the nearest location and its 220 miles away
  9. Same guys that butchered the Yugo milled AKs. Ive come to the point where I realized that in the firearms industry there are no hidden gems. Cheap is cheap for a reason. And if Im not mistaken they were out of Pa
  10. Its more than that. 4 casinos are closing or just closed. All in all about 8000 people will be out of a job before 2015. Thats 1/3 of Atlantic City's work force. Its partially their fault. Originally the idea was to create these cosinos AND none gambling entertainment venues on the boardwalk. That didnt really happen. Most of the boardwalk are pizza and t-shirt shops with a few kiddie rides scattered throughout. There really isnt much to do for a family if the dad wants to hit the cosinos. Its fine once or twice but after that you know there is nothing much to do. So now the dad wants to go b
  11. This. If I stop doing business with every company who has done something wrong I might as well live in a cave, Not necessarily gun related but... -Kodak -Hugo Boss -Bayer -Siemens -Ford -Chase Bank/J.D Rockefeller -IMB -Random House Publishing -Coke/Fanta -Nestle -BMW -GE -Microsoft -Apple These are just the companies of the top of my head And I almost cant blame companies who get pushed into making these decisions after some tools walk in with AKs
  12. I wonder what took them so long? Theyve been selling Tasco and other dime store junk for years
  13. I generaly think Bushmasters are a waste of money, more so if its something out of production and uses proprietary parts. If you want a 223 bullpup just buy a Tavor
  14. lol. Maybe so but I trust that the one dented, surplus, used mag with 15 rounds will outlast the Tapco
  15. Well Im just so glad that our news picked up and aired this story (sarcasm)
  16. THey probably got a large shipment of mags that were boken down into excellent, good and broken. I doubt they sort through each one so its quite possible someone somewhere threw some good mags in with the bad broken, rusty ones. I have one that is dented. You can only load so many rounds before the follower gets jammed in the dent. Its about half way down so you can load about 15 rounds before it becomes useless. Ive been thinking of drilling a small hole and using hooks to pull the dent out then either leaving the hole alone or covering it with putty that turns to steel
  17. SE Pa. Mostly ok. Not a lot of it but it is available. Its not hard to understand. Its cheap to buy even now when it became more expansive. What other ammo can u buy in quantities of 500 for under $50? People just keep on hoarding it. This wouldnt be a problem if it cost $100 for 500. My LGS got a huge shipment of 22lr in the last month and they limited it to a few bricks per person per day @ 25 a brick. Guess what happened? The same 4 or 5 retired old guys would show up every morning at opening and buy their max. Every morning without fail. So they show up and buy 2-3 bicks and have 1000-
  18. Sell are 3 and buy an AR! There are plenty of better 308 rifles around and they have easy to find mags! I would toss the 308 and keep the 5.45 or 7.62x39. x39 would probably be the one to go with. Ammo is made outside of Russia, mags are plentiful. If you already have 5.45 ammo keep that one too. You can still find ammo for it and while it is MORE expansive then it was its still fairly cheap
  19. Im lost. Are you looking to sell your 5.45 or buy a 5.45? There is Hornady 5.45
  20. First it was this... *Due to excessive demand, external unwarrantable actions as well as internal issues Royal Tiger Imports will be unable to fulfill your Vepr IV order. 21. Mags are the least of their problems right now. To add a little background to what Lone Eagle said...... Guy on TheAKforum (probably same guy) had ordered the 223 RPK from RT a day or two before the Saiga "ban". His card was charged and he was assured that they were shipping him his rifle. A few days after the "ban" RT sent him a email says sorry they were all out due to "ban" and promptly refunded his money (thats the only good part). Then a few more people came on with the same problem. Almost instantly they happened to "find a few more RPKs in the back room" and those all went on GB fo
