Dochartaigh 7
New member here; didn't see a place to introduce myself so adding a couple pictures should do it. I'm here to learn more about Saiga 12's, and research how to make it run perfectly. Arsenal Saiga 12. Magpul CTR stock on Enidine buffer tube. CSS trigger conversion kit with SAW grip (did it myself with my brother). CSS Low-Brass Reliability Kit. RS Regulate AKML side mount with Primary Arms Micro Dot. t2coop 1
Still a work in progress..... I've done a lot of AK work, and appreciate the helpful advice from the forum! I don't have ton of photos, and some of the stuff I had tried didn't work out so well. The stock I originally put on this S12 snapped after about a dozen rounds! My 12 year old made a video of our S12 in full auto. We are an 07/02 FFL/SOT, so need to worry....it's all legal. Let me know what you think. I'd also be up for some stock advice. I modified an aftermarket Remington stock to work for now, and while it is sturdy enough, I like the folding mechanism I had on the other stock...if the stock were just stout enough..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_0HQOG78No&feature=g-upl Please don't take the video as advertisement, as I don't do any Saiga work for the public. This is an experimental gun for the shop. If you want parts or work, there are plenty of other folks on this board to take care of that for you.
AcezHi 7
Here is mine post conversion. I did the Tapco Saw Grip, MD gas puck, TAC-47 Auto Gasplug, Kicklite stock and Tromix FCG and Tromix DIY Trigger Guard. I also got 2 of the Promag 12 round drums that have worked great for the first 50 rounds so far. This was my first conversion. I went a week with it stock before I ordered the parts. Whole different gun with the Kicklite stock. Cycles the cheap stuff like a champ. kicks more like a 410.... Now I need to decide what to do for a forearm and sights. Should be a great deer slayer for this fall. Edited May 17, 2012 by AcezHi
