Well not early, but early enough from what I hear.

I ordered my S12 from CGW last week, along with that a G22, an AR-15 lower and an AR-10 lower from a local gun shop.

I've been keeping tabs on my orders and noticed that the gun shops have been rediculously busy. I started asking around and since the election every local gun dealer is sold out of almost everything. Their suppliers are sold out and most of the manufacturors are not taking any orders (DPMS, Noveske, etc). A couple of my buddies have been trying to buy some guns and their getting the same story...no guns available to buy.

Looks like I got my orders in just in the nick of time. Is anyone else witnessing this same scenario?

yes and no, i happen to be in good with my supplier, there are a few places still dumping them out by the truckload, some dealers are just trying to make fear buys and really hike up prices through the roof, yea demand is high, but its not like there wasn't a stockpile laying around at some large distributors. I still saw CMMG for good prices with plenty in stock, RRA, Spike's, Stag, S&W, Henderson, Charles Daly, ect. just the really sought after stuff may be totally out like the 30th anniversary bushmaster my friend picked up, pretty sweet ;) and colts and oddball carbines...

They had a little news bit on some show, and they talked about people buying guns. One of the shop owners they interviewed said he thought it was strange that he had people come in, wearing Obama shirts and buttons, all buying guns, that said things like "We have to buy what we want now, because Obama will probably ban them".

Then why the FUCK are supporting him?????????????????????????????????????????

The reporter then said, "....and this is the type of gun that is selling the most:" and he held up an AR.

If nothing else, Obama is succeeding in arming America citizens to the frickin teeth!

I'm seeing this on every damn national publication now instead of just the local. I'm watching and waiting for it to hit BBC.

Maybe Obama really loves violence. He is not stopping the missile defense systems in Poland! Honestly did not see that coming. I sure hope he knows shortly after inauguration Putin will be back and foaming at the fucking mouth.

Also, I'd just like to throw out, I have quite a few photos of "No Blacks" signs in Russian taken in Tver, St. Petersburg and Moscow from when my sisters were in school there. I guess Russians aren't typically keen on Black folk--this'll be fun.

Last week I spoke with J&G, Century, Centerfire, Zanders, and several other large concerns. There was not an AK or AR (or SKS) to be had, other than some Tantals (5.45x39.) Likewise, try finding .223, 7.62x39, .308, 5.45 ammo--tough going. Long lines at Cabelas. Drove by a local gun shop this afternoon and there wasn't a single parking space available. Ironic stimulus to the economy, huh?

If I owned the gunshop (and could afford to), I would have told anyone wearing "Obama" anything to get the hell out of it if they came in. :angry2:

Gun shop owners have the right to refuse sales, right?

So the run is confined mostly to EBR? I just looked on gunbroker.com and looks pretty much normal. Lots of AR15, AK47, hand guns at what seems to be the same prices still going unsold. Ammo does seem to have an ouch factor but it is available.

So let me get this straight. You would throw someone out of your shop because they participated in a United States election, but didn't vote the way you wanted, so you find that's enough reason to attempt firewalling their ability to exercise their 2nd amendment right.

I don't think I should have to point out the hypocrisy here..

Not everyone is as lucky as you or I and can vote with firearm ownership at the top of our list in importance. Some people have lost all their sons in a wretched sandbox. Others have been a victim of workforce reductions. A lot of people had to make hard choices and cross party lines because it came down to hoping for a change they'd like at the expense of some of their rights. Is this any different than throwing someone out who voted for Bush--cause the PatAct is rockin' awesome.

I'll be straight up...if you enter my gun shop wearing an Obama tee-shirt, you can turn right the fuck around and get out. My property, my business, my rules.

Sure, you have your first Amendment right to free speech (which only obligates the government, by the way)...and I have my own. You wear whatever you want the hell off my property. I won't come in your house wearing a "Palin Rules!" shirt, and you don't wear Socialist gungrabber gear in mine.

I've spent more than a quarter of my adult life in the Sandbox. In my opinion, we are doing the right thing...either we fight the Islamofacists there...or here. I'd rather fight in their backyard rather than my own, lest we end up with another set of smoking craters in our major cities. The Muslims started the war against us in 622, and took over the holiest places in Christendom shortly after that. The Christians threw the first Crusade party because the Muslims were waylaying Christian pilgrims and selling them into slavery. 1,400 years later...not much has changed.

Obama and OBiden are gun-grabbers from their earliest days. I sold out of pistols this morning, and went wandering up to a few shops in San Antonio...no parking outside, no guns left inside... Seems folks know what is coming with a far-left crew running two of the three branches of government, and are laying in supplies against the coming darkness.

Buy what you can now.

You honestly really with whole heart believe Obama and the democrats are champions of liberty and rights that are going to roll back any federal power such as the PatAct? Pull my finger. Other than that naivety and the rest of your victim rant I pretty much agree with you pertaining the 2nd amendment.

God no. Not sure where you picked that from in my post. The Neo-Cons have attacked our liberties from one front and now the Liberals will now attack us from another. I can't wait to have my mail opened, tax records read, wiretapped, internet and library books monitored while being disarmed.

That's what I was thinking.

I was surprised to see any kind of gun talk in my local newspaper, but there was an article talking of how people are buying guns like crazy. They said that the Cheaper Than Dirt storefront in Texas (I think it was Tex anyway) had sold $101,000 worth of merchandise in one day!

Um, like in Philly (which I am close to). Can't wear any McCain/Palin shit there without grief.

Those assholes were usually against the war from the beginning. If anyone is hurting their sons/daughters stationed there now, it's those asshats. Vote for Obama, fuck over your serving sons/daughters, I truly think.

For whatever reason people are buying guns, it is good for the gun industry. Maybe this will drive a point home to the politicians that people DO value their second admendment rights, even if those same citizens preach about gun violence.

Even though it appears that everyone might be panicing, I know there are some people like me that have been wanting and waiting to buy certain guns for a long time and are buying them now and not chancing a possible ban.

No, I predict it's going to end up with a bigger block of clueless assholes shooting themselves because of firearms unfamiliarity. :angry2:

It's a lot of stupid, fencesitters doing the firearms buying now.

Just like the California ones who bitched and moaned during the Rodney King riots because they had to wait 15 days before they could pick up their new pistolas. Assholes brought it on themselves, and after the riots were over, they stuck their heads right up their dumb asses again.

Douchebags already can't drive a 3,000 Lb. car without the cellphone stuck to their ear, what makes them think shooting is less dangerous? :ded:

those who gave their lives gave them for freedom......ignorant people voted for someone who will take away more rights

than the patact ever thought of.

let's get real here.

just to stay on topic, I saw alot of ar's being sold at a gun show today, but got a line on a local company who still has

some left. However, he says they are selling pretty fast also.....

Truth be told, a LOT of people didn't quite realize what he was going to do. The media really glossed over that. The media reported he supported second amendment rights, and that was that. You had to really dig to find out the truth about him. Now he's telling his real agenda and people are going "OH SHIT!"

I agree with the gun shop owner that turns away anyone wearing Obama stuff. Obama by fighting against the 2nd amendment is going to put most gun stores out of business, belly up. Take away their method of earning money and putting food on their table. They are a direct enemy of his, fuck them.
