Mullet Man 2,114
Sweet! I was going to chime in with a link to CDNN, they used to have the "shooters packs" (mag and pistol holsters) for ~$20 but now i cant find them on their site. I have been extremely pleased with my FNP45 so far! FN is also releasing the new designed FNX (9mm & .40) line of pistols and the FNP45 tactical this year.

Ya that tactical looks cool, but too pricey for me. CDNN still has the shooters pack on the downloaded add near the bottom. Mine came with every thing and three 15 round mags. Can't wait to go test her out.

Vultite 57
I just picked up an FNP-45 that will soon be replacing my RIA 1911 for a carry piece. This thing is very nice, thanks Mulletman for talking so highly of it, made me second guess getting a G21sf and I am happy with my decision. And my Draco for fun Hey, heads up on your FNP...I've seen a couple with chipped barrels and cracked frames...I'd check your gun for wear after you run a few hundred through. A few people have had to send it back due to defects and low quality control....but nice spread!
diamondback 56
My current "Daily-D" 1911, an Essex built up by a friend of a friend... Mags are CMC 8-round Shooting Stars. And photochopped diagrams of the pair of 1911's I plan to cut from raw-metal for myself someday... Left, showing the "normal" (for my use) Longslide top-half: Right, illustrating the more conventional "concealment" Government slide: Yes, these will be 6" longslides (I'm figuring to build 'em for .450SMC/10mm barrel-swap capability), safety and ejection reversed from standard orientations.Note the change to a dual-plunger-tube configuration, and also the use of "standard" mag-releases on both irons--the plan is to use ambi's to eliminate the Randall Mag Problem. The cracked frame issue has been dealt with by FNH and the frames have been "redesigned" a couple years ago, soon after realization. I am unfamiliar with the chipped barrel issue? Now I have to check mine out to be sure, it's my daily carry and don't want to be cruzing around a death trap. So far about 600 rounds and no failures. It doesn't like steel cased in the mags though. They bind up near the bottom, too much steel on steel friction I think, but 15 +1 is verry nice.

TO THE FLOOR IN A 63 121
Here is my little collection. I had a lot of different guns back in the late 80's but not much survived until today. Here is my sig P220 European with Lazer Max...soon with Pachmayrs but they werent in today's mail. I bought this gun from a buddy who was a gunsmith some 25 years ago... 45ACP This is my Hungarian R61 9x18 Makarov...another gun from 25 years ago. Everyone needs a .22 and this is my 6" S&W. I just bought this 9mm S & W 469 because I have always wanted one. I plan to shoot it the first time at our April match. Note the standard 12 round mag for the 69 series and the model 59 series 17 round mags. No more 4 or 5 mag changes as I had to do with the sig. ... And then there is this 357/38... SuAside 2
My handguns (barring some surplus stuff I never use): - Beretta 87 Target .22LR (good allrounder) - Taurus Tracker .22LR (more accurate than I thought when I bought it) - Sig Sauer X-Five AL 9x19 (what is there to say?) - Sphinx 2000 AS 9x19 (my IPSC fungun) - Manurhin MR-73 .357Mag/.38Spl (a dream to shoot) The Manurhin MR-73 is an absolute motherf*cker to take pictures off. The deep blue is just impossible to capture on film, as it were. Doesn't help that I suck with cameras and that the lighting was bad, of course. The chipped barrels I saw were on the face of the barrel which I thought was odd. At first I thought it was due to a drop but the slide and frame showed no scratches or wear, very unusual....but other then those few instances I haven't heard of any issues. I suppose all manufactorers have their bad batches of metal parts...

sharkbit 109
yeah it's mine, when i first got it from classic, it needed to be cleaned up a bit, and the action was a little rough. After cleaning it up and polishing the internals, it now has a smooth action and feeds and ejects well. Just finished it, but haven't shot it yet, but I am not anticipating any issues. Should have a range report soon. Edited May 14, 2010 by sharkbit
