I asked one person here to write my fairwell letter but things have slowed down a bit so I can write my own...many thanks to my fellow Marine Juggs.

Guess some of you might have noticed that I have not been posting all that much and that is because I have been VERY busy with predeployment training. I'm supposed to be leaving somewhere between the 1-10th of April and returning Nov-Dec time frame. You can write, send packages, goodies, porn, liquid delights, ect if you wish to me at......Al Asad, Iraq.

Not that I'm looking to check-in to the Pearly Gates and meet Chesty, or my Maker but I have a few out the door thanks that I feel need to go out:

Stingray, this member sold me my first S12....and I love her to this day.

Cobra & Racegal, my friends, fellow shooters, and just great people. Thanks for your friendship and all the help you have offered....I'm still waiting for that rail too! :haha:

bvamp, dude we can say SOOO much but I believe it all is better left unsaid. Congrats on the new HOTTIE by the way......Latin women....well.....hope you are up to the task! :haha:

Juggs, you helped where no one else could have. Your help in the wedding was above and beyond the call of Brotherhood. Marine to Marine, you will always have my resepect.

BobAsh, you always answered questions or had a fitting comment. Thanks for all your sly inputs and info.

Tony, well....damn bro you build me the ultimate S17! I just cant wait to get it in my grubby paws and let off a few rounds!!

Rangerdavid, man you have helped where no one else could have possibly stepped in. Your legal expertise, your friendship and knowledge aided me in more ways that I could possibly be thankful for.

Those I missed, forgot, and included please write. I will probably be bored off my ass being stuck with a Marine Wing Support Squadron detachment and stuck inside the wire almost indeffinately.

P.S.

Tony, my damn Form 4 hasn't been approved yet... so the SBS is going to make a DAMN FINE birthday present in 2009!!:wub:

Maybe an 2010 Iraqi special, poly-choke, 12" digital Desert Tan, could be cooked up for next year?

So long brother! Kick some haji ass for us over there! I enjoyed all our visits and look forward to more when you get home. I'm glad I got to meet your sweetheart at the last gunshow too. We'll have to get together when you come home and see how well she has taken a liking to that cute little pink gun you got her at the show!

The rail is on my workbench! lol :haha: I'll keep it safe and sound for you!

My only son is in Afganny, I'll tell ya like I always tell him when he deploys, please keep your head down and your gun locked and loaded. Don't let them fucks get too close, better to be judged by ten than carried by 6, but you already know that. I pray that God keep you all safe and bring you home in one peice.

Dean.

Sgt.

There are a lot of worse places in Iraq than Al-Asad. Very little incoming (now), several chowhalls and the PX is much bigger than when I was there in '04-'05. If your unit needs Fac work or you are on the typical parts scrounging mission, don't forget to check out the Seabees over near the junkyard near KBR's compound. We took serious pride in assisting the Marines on base when our officers would let us. I helped re-hab a Marine barracks that was originally a condemned building (in Iraq no less!) with lights, hot water in the bathrooms and covered over the broken windows with plexiglass. Looking back at what they had to live in, I would have done that job for free.

Stay safe and Semper Fi!!

Good luck buddy, if you happen to Run across a medic by the name of D. Torres from Tampa, FL over there, please look out for him. He's a former partner of mine and all the guys down here miss him. Good luck and stay safe. We'll be praying for your return. :chris:

PS: He'll be on a MEDEVAC, like an Angel on your shoulders if you need it ;)
