Kids MUST Fear Any & All Guns, Even Nerf Guns.

I'll walk in with a rubber band wrapped around my finger, and try to get a free lunch out of it....

On a serious note, this crap irks me as well. As stated above, ignorance kills.

No shit... But even a finger gun can get a grade schooler expelled now-a-days. :booo:

I think this is a good time to quote Ben Franklin having said "Those that hammer their guns into plows, will plow for those who did not"

Let them learn to fear everything. They'll make fine mules.

What exactly is wrong with a child becoming familar with firearm and proper handling? If you remove the mystic of firearms from a child they aren't tempted to sneak off and play with them. I was raised to respect them, at the age of 11 I had a 22 and a 20ga with ammo I kept in my room. When my freinds came over, I was never tempted to flaunt them. Yes I was asked about them, I would get my fathers permission to show them to my friends. Then once the curiosity was gone there was no desire to "play" with them, infact my freinds parents came down to talk to my father about having let their childern in my room knowing I had guns in their. It wasn't too long after that, my freinds had their own air rifles and 22's! (My dad could sell sulfur to satan). But he was right damn it. There is nothign to be feared, only understood. People with the desire to kill other people will do it and have done it long before the invention of firearms. We don't want to ban cars because of stupid drivers do we?

Great idea, cram all this pacifist bull shit down their throats for years through school and when they turn 18 expect them to defend out country and not be mind fucked. The sad thing is I have people on my street that think "exposure to toy guns is bad". I still look at WW2 vets (my dad's generation) as the last of our best. Raise your children with that sense of responsability and work ethic, not all this politically correct, sense of entitlement crap that seems to be taking over and their lives and quality of life will be better in the long run. It really pains me that my kids will probably never know the freedoms that I had growing up no matter how hard I try and thank god that they're almost grown now and avoided some of the b.s. that seems to be spreading through our school system.

The guns being bought back from the streets weren't 9 mm handguns or Glocks. Instead, they were Nerf guns or toy pistols.

So Glocks are never 9mm's?

I think we need to have a testicle buyback program for these fucks! We'll buy the father's testicles with some Tofu Burgers and Patchouli Oil. That way he can't bring more ignorant little fucks into this world!

My dauhgter had shot everything I owned at the time by the time she was 6 and my .22 by age 4. Fear has never been part of her firearms learning. Respect yes, fear, never. It will be the same with my Grandchildren.

The dumbasses don't realize that Fear DOES NOT equal Respect. But then again, their kind prefer that we live in Fear and not with Honor and Respect.

definitely man. deep down these types of movements are not aimed at protecting people, its about creating fear in attempt to ban all firearms outright.

Telling kids they should be scared of something is just going to make them want to play around with the item even more. Just like the DARE drug program my school had growing up (do they still do this in schools?). While it was intended to inform kids on the dangers of drugs, all it did was give me a list of shit to try to acquire down the road and ingest in one form or another. :lolol:

DARE instructor: Kids, drugs are bad and dangerous. They can make you see/hear/feel very strange things that are not even there.

Kid: No shit? Well sign me up for that venture into Fuckyeahville.

Wow, if Nerf and squirt guns upsets them then my responsible children would really frost their cake! My children have learned about firearms from the begining and have had their own since ages 1 and 3, granted they couldn't shoot them at those ages but now that they are 5 and 7 and have knowledge INSTEAD of fear they are able to shoot with proper guidence and supervision.

Exactly.

A buddy of mine and his wife are expecting their first kid in November. He's already looking at little .22 rifles for the boy!

Adults who don't know how to handle guns are afraid of them. They have kids and try to teach them to be afraid. The problem is that kids are much more curious than afraid. They are much better off being taught to respect than trying to instil fear. It won't work and their curiousity will get the better of them.

The funny thing about kids and toy guns is that even if you never let them play with toy guns, they will make guns, swords, weapons out of whatever they have like sticks or even play dough. You can't fight it. Just embrace it and teach respect and responsibility.

Preaching to the choir, I know.

Nerf missiles are only dangerous when you douse them liberally with charcoal lighting fluid, light them on fire, and then manage to shoot them on an inaccessible part of the roof of the house (while actually aiming at the charcoal pit) after putting the garden hose away for the season.

(and yes, vast amounts of alcohol was involved at the time).

I guess its time that we move to England or Aussieland.....to hell with freedom and fighting for our inalienable rights as such....there comes a time when no book will do it, and we must stand up and fight (and kill) for what we live, as Americans.

Chilie - this article is such horseshit, it isnt even funny, but I know you stir the pot. Still, it is a DISTURBING trend.

DO NOT take the fight and weapon out of the people. Then you are a simple statistic, and not FOR the people.....

I for one, am NOT giving in one inch, because some WHIMP that doesnt live by OUR RULES wont take arms to fight back against the LATINO KINGS or JAMAICAN MAFIA.

DISARM ME? HAH!!! that'll be the fuckin day.

Maybe these people should move to Canadia, or Engrand, or EWUOPE. They can be safer there, and join the socialist movement out that way.

ILL be confronting life GUNS BLAZING, and without FEAR OF DOING SO!!! I know my rights.

WHY ARE THEY STILL HERE???? THEY should move, NOT me, or US!!! The fuck they think they are talking to?

SO MOVE!!! GET OUT!!!
