  1. Soo... ya don't want to hear about my 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 yd backers with steel at 100-500 auto weapons allowed and just clean up after yourself off a covered bench with 10 firing points that I've only ever run into a handful of people at for $20?
  2. They are more fun with cans Kinda hard to get sub-sonic to run through a belt though but oh is it fun. If I need to put 10 shots into a dime I'll get my Savage bolt, 10 shots in a heck of a hurry the 10/22 gets the nod. My single six and Bearcat isn't bad to shoot either.
  3. drugs are bad.... mmmmkay? Ivan wasn't just drunk that day, but drunk and checking out something walking by.
  4. The only thing that has surprised me was when my buddy had a AMD.... that was just disgustingly loud. Made the M1A scout beside it seem quiet
  5. You can always adjust the elevation.... which way do you have to go?
  6. My friend has a Savage 93 in 17 HMR. .He has no problem dropping groundhogs at 100 yds with the gun (no wind). As long as you arn't planning on eating the squirrel.... then the 17 HMR should be just fine. His is finicky about ammo really likes the 20 grain stuff, doesn't group well with the 17 grain.
  7. Before I chopped my barrel and did some gas system work I shot my gun for two years.....hard, somewhere in the ballpark of 3-4k of cheap birdshot. Never choked....got tired of waiting for it to jam so I cleaned it.
  8. Glad ya moved up outta the floodplain, means we got the all clear to wash the streets clean
  9. Signed up on here at 19, apparently I was the odd ball of the group. Most guys were saving up for beer money and here I was scraping cash for Russian 12 gauge goodness. Now I'm just a grumpy old man at 26
  10. Crazy cowboys...wanted me to run a stage in flip flops last summer
  11. Glad they stepped down from the $299 mark....now its tempting
  12. I'd buy it at $250 conversion bad good or indifferent, I'd just want one with a long barrel
  13. Cars a night? you'd be counting cars per week.... I used to like what I did working with the public in a park, problem was it was a government job....and since I actually worked I got canned
  14. So.... you're about a month too late. Local shop just sold one for about $2500 that has been on the rack for close to 9 months
  15. Care to elaborate? Did it eject? It didn't feed off the mag, had to ram it home to get it to close. It did eject though, he thought it was a little "hot" of a round till they looked at the hull.
  16. Good luck blowing one up, I know of one that has fired a 3 1/2" shell and still works, trunnion is still intact and op rod isn't bent.
  17. Find out where its shooting with the bayo then drift the sight to compensate for something close to 4" to the left at 50yds
  18. But you're mountains blow up
  19. Go for the hollow point, occasionally the soft point stuff would jam in my AKs feeding off drums. Didn't jam off a stick mag, or off the Saiga with a bullet guide IIRC.
  20. Hold on lemme bring Browning back from the grave to get him on it...
  21. PS...I hate you Well I don't really hate you I just want your rifle....nothing personal
  22. And may her former/late husband is getting what he deserves how ever the controling force sees fit....I was at her funeral.
  23. Classy, so if I'm attempted to get pulled over by a Honda Accord I'll keep driving like a son-of-a... since its only an Accord
