I hope lol. This is my other S12, nothing special, still in it's sporter configuration, I might add a poly-choke, but plan on leaving her as is for awhile. Had gas ports enlarged and bolt/carrier polished by Cadiz gun works. Not a fan of this stock for it's folding ability, I just like the fit/feel of it for me. Bolt carrier is in need of some desperate attention. Also tring to figure out what I'm going to do about some new iron sights. Cycles Federal bulk with no issues and winchester with the occasional hang up. I may either paint my factory hand guard or replace it with the FDE galil style hand guard. Deadeye 325 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Share Posted November 27, 2011 The previous saiga is a hard act to folow. Nice work! But here goes. Finaly converted the other night. I did not want to wait for my stock so I used the slr95 aresenal stock I had laying around. It will work for now. The forgrip I made from an old maglight that was broken. Took it out today for a test and it ran perfect. The only problem with the stock is the tang on the saiga is a lot shorter than the arsenal. so there is a little gap at the rear of the tang. but that is ok for now. It was just a last second thought, I'm probably gonna go with a Burris Fastfire holo instead, but I'd like your esteemed input. Future plans are a "buckshot" barrel shroud, Red Jacket rear stock to replace the cheesy plastic one I went with, and a flashlight/laser combo. Oh yeah, I bought a Promag 10 round mag and it will not lock into place. I'm gonna have to cut on it to get it to work. Ticks me off.
