bohound 281
Top one is the 7.62 converted Thursday night, tested extensively today. Her name is Francis, and she's a folder. Flashbang 34
Before I discovered this forum and the wonders of conversion. Once the parts I ordered arrive...including an MSA AR Mag Adapter, I will post more pics. After conversion....
Darth AkSarBen 20
Nice job, bohound !! Maybe closer to a "labor day". They sure can shoot, can't they??!!
bohound 281
Nice job, bohound !! Maybe closer to a "labor day". They sure can shoot, can't they??!! They sure can, oh dark Sith master. You'll notice my other project in the background... My fresh paint job on our son, Thomas Jefferson's crib! "Labor day" indeed! SirROFL 13
This one's the keeper. Just a Tapco rail on the front, Tech-Sights, and an MSA mag adapter. Decided since this is my only dimpled reciever that I'd keep it. The rest of the family. Not a very good pic (from my Blackberry, so pretty good considering), but still shows more detail on the cheapass camo work. LOL KRYLON
Darth AkSarBen 20
You forgot your magazines. Kind of funny seeing a tree with a black mag sticking out of it.. LOL
SirROFL 13
Nah. The paint rubs off easily, and since mags take more handling wear than the rest of the rifle I figured I wouldn't bother. Whoever I sell it to can paint their mags to match if they want. Paulry 50
Still a work in progress. My .223 Saiganov Jr. Have a beverage now! Updated Photo w/6 to 24 power lighted scope shot some 1/2" 50 yard groups with wolf 55 gr won't shoot the 75 gr worth a damn.
Bayoupiper 738
Here's a little something different. dobravery 49
Here's my first conversion--doubt it will be the last. Some thanks to. . . Dinzag--I have a Yugo M70 with G2 trigger, and Dinzag's polished G2 is noticeably smoother. Copes Distributing for selling wire folding stocks again at a reasonable price. That guy on You Tube who explains the BHO install pretty well. -G2 trigger-Dinzag -US made Yugo style PG -Surefire forearm -Romy wire folding stock -Orlite Galil mag -Dinzag BG ramp

Topped it off with an Eotec 512. This beast will shoot Russian Brown Bear better than the expensive stuff!

Topped it off with an Eotec 512. This beast will shoot Russian Brown Bear better than the expensive stuff! What PG is that? It's kind of a yugo type from Ironwood Designs. It does not require the metal ferrule cap. I sanded down the profile a little for better fitting.

Darth AkSarBen 20
I change to a nice light brown configuration. It makes it easier to differentiate between the black Saiga .308 and the .223. This is the .223 BTW.
